Study Meeting Recap

Mike Aiken gave an excellent presentation at our study meeting last Friday. A highlight of the discussion was the concept that we should continually develop ourselves, that we should feel that nothing is beyond our attainment. We often limit ourselves through lack of focus and self-doubt - we're our own worst enemy so to speak.

‘The Object of Worship for Observing the Mind’ in the September Living Buddhism has been confirmed by Michael Aiken as the material for Friday’s study meeting. See you at Kinuko’s this Friday.

The Bowie District study meeting will be held on Friday 26 September at Kinuko’s. Michael Aiken is expected to attend. Not sure of the material yet, it will probably be “The Object of Worship for Observing the Mind” in the September Living Buddhism.

We had a good meeting on Friday with 10 members present. Dialog about breaking deadlocks and dialog about dialog with references to the current world situation. How do you dialog with an adversary that doesn't want to participate?
